From the Office of Ministry of Domestic Affairs, we are arranging a new flag redesign contest in the tradition of the Halloween and Holiday Season contests!
The Contest: Transform your CURRENT National flag into a valentine themed flag. This means that you must use the design you have now and add elements that reflect valentine.
The Prize: The winner of this contest will have their art featured both in the World Factbook Entry and in the regional newspaper, Solidarity.
How do I win? Once the submission date (February 12th) has come to an end, there will be a vote where the contestants will then compete for the prize.
How do I submit my flag? To submit, post it here on this forum thread with a brief (a sentence or two) description of your flag the changes you made.
Want some additional motivation?
In October and December, the DSA hosted a flag redesign contest for October holidays (Halloween, Dia De Muertos, etc) and the holiday season (Christmas, Yule, Hanukkah, Kwanza, Saturnalia, etc). With all the redesigned flags, there were also some redesigned countryballs and countrybal art that the nation of Student Loan Debt created for the event. With this contest, the same thing will happen. There will be some countryball art of the countryballs doing valentine events. So, if you would like to see your countryball having fun with others, come join the contest and make a flag redesign. Or, if you're not good with flag redesigns, submit your countryball in a holiday outfit. It will look cute.

The Dankistani flag makes its first themed debut, drawing on curvier elements and a big old heart in the middle. The cool vaporwave cyan tones are replaced by cheery and cozy shades of romantic pink. The hard, angular elements soften up here, representing the mushification of my emotions during this hopeless romantic season. The harsh elements will return after valentine's day, representing the hardening of my shell and drilling depression as I face another year alone.
